Rakae Jamil is a young Pakistani sitar player, music producer & studio owner and lead member of a contemporary instrumental funk-fusion music super-group "Mughal e Funk". He has learned sitar from Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan Poonchwalay and Ustad Shujaat Khan among others. Rakae has also performed on Coke Studio. With Bachelor’s in Musicology from NCA and a Master’s in Humanities with a focus on music, Rakae is a musical wizard when it comes to the sitar. He belongs to a family that has produced many artistically accomplished people.
