We take immense pride and pleasure in announcing our next event featuring distinguished ghazal and geet singer Shakila Ahmed and dancer-choreographer Tanveer Alam. The upcoming Sur Sangum concert will feature distinguished ghazal and geet singer Shakila Ahmed and dancer-choreographer Tanveer Alam. Shakila trained in Indian classical music from an early age and her repertoire ranges from classical, ghazals to pop/rock, in various languages. She is flying in from US specially to perform for our stage. A special treat this evening will be the presentation of a fusion performance of contemporary and Kathak (Indian classical) dance forms by the talented Tanveer Alam.
